Ridotto is proud to introduce a lineup of high-stakes, high-reward experiences, we’re calling Dopamine Games. Play them and beware, they’re bound to spike some adrenaline!
We’re offering a range of chance-based games that cater to the daring and the strategic alike. From dice games to card games to wheel games and mesmerizing mini-games, you’ll be able to choose your risk level and your potential reward. Just know, fortune favors the bold!
Product development — BUILD
This month, we’re thrilled to unveil our new user-friendly Build UI template for game creators. In just five simple steps, you will now seamlessly create, customize, and brand your casino games — all on a single, intuitive page.
Starting with lotteries, rolling out to select partners at first, we prioritized practicality, ensuring that whether you’re a seasoned developer or new to game building, the process is straightforward and efficient. Get ready to unleash your creativity effortlessly!
Accomplishments
Smart Contracts for Chance Games
We’ve finally completed the smart contract for all simple chance-based games. They are built with a global sustainable bankroll mechanism, support multiple token types, and have the capacity to receive various categories of bets through efficient Verifiable Random Function (VRF) calls. This advancement brings us one step closer to offering you a more diverse and engaging gaming experience.
Dashboard Upgrades
We enhanced our command center dashboard with several enhancements that better track the overall Ridotto ecosystem. They include alerts for undrawn lotteries and the tracking of VRF balances. Lastly, the dashboard now offers security features like monitoring for unauthorized access.
Security Whitelisting
Safety remains our utmost priority. After identifying a potential security vulnerability, we quickly implemented a global whitelist for the game factory. This allows the community to vote on which tokens can be added or removed from the system via our DAO, adding another layer of open-source security.
The Vue 3 Migration
On a more technical level, we migrated from Vue 2 to Vue 3. We did this out of necessity because Wallet Connect discontinued support for the previous version. Our development team is in the final stages of testing and style-fixing, and we’re almost ready to roll it out. For end users, this transition will appear seamless but will offer expanded support for various wallet providers.
What’s in the Pipeline?
Migration to New LP Pool and NFT Farming
We’re migrating all assets to a new Liquidity Pool (LP) that supports cross-chain transactions. This will provide us with the ability to expand effortlessly onto additional EVM-compatible chains.
Bug Fixes
We fixed a particularly annoying bug that has been causing issues with the ‘buy for others’ feature. The problem is with the subgraph not correctly indexing events, making it challenging for users to claim. A fix is in the works.
New Game Development
Two new game smart contracts are under development — Dice and Wheel games. These additions will offer even more variety to your gaming experience.
Testnet Deployment
We’re not just deploying our first set of games on a testnet; we’re preparing for multiple rounds of rigorous testing. These testing rounds will allow us to finetune the UI and ensure robust security protocols are in place.
