Q1: Can you please introduce yourself and your background, as well as the team working on Ridotto?
Mohammed: Ridotto was founded by M. Marragh, a Blockchain and Cloud Architect who led our strategic transformations towards an open banking environment in an open-source financial ecosystem; and F. Benstella, a Digital Marketing Strategist, who has implemented and developed digital marketing, communication and partnership strategies for leading companies.
We are working with advisors from several fields, ranging from influencers to blockchain engineers and gaming industry operators. Recently, Mr Diallo has joined the Ridotto Team as Strategic Development Advisor.
We are working on a new section on the official Ridotto website to share with our community everything that happens behind the scenes.
Q2- What is your project’s mission? And what can users get from Ridotto?
Mohammed: Our mission is to make the gaming industry accessible to everyone, and remove all existing barriers. We are here to revolutionize this industry as we are determined to put fairness & total randomness at the heart of our ecosystem.
We are presenting the first gaming platform in which the community can play, build and even earn rewards by becoming “the house”.

Q3- Could you explain Ridotto a bit more, and what makes it different from other projects?
Fayrouz: Ridotto is nothing like a mainstream casino. Among our many competitive advantages, there is :
- The possibility of becoming the house by providing liquidity to the DeFi ecosystem and having the same profits as the house.
- The possibility of building casinos or games based on our protocol.
We are the only on-chain gaming protocol to offer these services.
Q4- Could you tell us about some of the project partners who are currently working with Ridotto?
Fayrouz: Our main launch partner is CardStarter, on which we will hold the exclusive Cardano IDO.
In addition to that, We are working with several emerging projects in the Cardano ecosystem (Oracle, VR, Social Media ….). We will announce several exciting partnerships very soon. stay tuned!
Q5- How can we use the product & how to get involved?
Mohammed: Ridotto Casino is a web app that you can use on every web device that supports blockchain wallet integration (metamask, trust wallet, ..)
If you are more interested in the build protocol, we provide a set of agnostic blockchain SDKs & libraries to the developers.
Q6- Can you explain your Tokenomics Distribution? How many tokens would be minted ? And How many tokens would be locked by the team?
Mohammed: Our Total supply will be 500M RDT. The token economics have been designed to respect three main pillars:
- A deflationary supply
- A sustainable and responsible release strategy
- A strategic vesting policy managed via time-locked smart contracts.
The team allocation will be 10% of the total supply.

Q8- As we know, one really important thing that investors look for in a project is security. How can users be sure that the Ridotto platform is safe to use?
Mohammed: Definitely, all of our contracts are battle tested and are audited first internally, then by Hacken.
Security is of paramount importance for the Ridotto platform.
Q9- Does Ridotto only target Crypto Space? What about real-world companies?
Mohammed: Ridotto aims to provide a solid and efficient framework on which even traditional casinos could get access to blockchain space.
We also target players who want to change the game and become the house themselves.
Q10- What are your top 3 priorities in 2021? Could you share some plans for the upcoming years?
Mohammed: Our three main priorities for this year are :
- Launch the IDO in the coming weeks;
- Launch farming and staking pools;
- Deploy the core smart contracts on Cardano blockchain;

Q11- Where does the project name come from? What does it mean for you? and why did you choose it for your project?
Mohammed: Ridotto: besides rolling off the tongue in a classy Italian fashion, it’s a word with deep cultural and historical ties. Literally, it means “private room;” but it originates from the name of a wing in Venice’s famed Palazzo Dandolo. Dating all the way back to the fourteenth century, the Palazzo secured its place in history through the Ridotto wing, known by gaming institutions everywhere as the site of the first public casino in the West.
Continuing the tradition of making history’s oldest pastime accessible, the Ridotto platform is the world’s first cross-chain gaming and lottery protocol that enables users to not only play games, but to create them. This innovative approach is to online gaming what mobile apps were to online gaming. Ridotto wants to unleash retail ingenuity by giving them the decentralized infrastructure to create, experiment, and evolve online gambiling
Q12- How was the idea to create this project born? It is very interesting. What do you want to prove? What are your expectations?
Mohammed: The idea started when one of the co-founders bought a lottery ticket, unfortunately, she lost.
We started questioning ourselves about whether the lottery was fair? What actually happens behind the scenes? What exactly are our odds of actually winning? ….
It was very obvious that blockchain can help us to solve all these issues. This is how Ridotto was born.
Q13- Does your project support staking programs? If so, how does your stake system work? What are the requirements for users if they ever decide to stake in your platform?
Mohammed: One of the main aspects of Ridotto is becoming the house. The Ridotto community can provide liquidity to the DeFi ecosystem (including staking).
All earnings, rewards, and fees will be shared across the pool’s liquidity providers.

Q14- Please mention 3 great features that place Ridotto ahead of other projects?
Mohammed: Ridotto has three main features: Play, Build & Earn
- Play: The users will have access to a large and diverse game catalog with four main categories: Cards and table games, bets, slots, and lottery.
- Build: we offer developers & casino operators the possibility of building their own games/casinos through the Ridotto framework.
- Earn: We will expose a DeFi ecosystem, where users can be the house & earn rewards.
