Unfortunately, a small minority of VCs and private sale contributors have violated Ridotto’s private sale SAFT by using RDT tokens exclusively as speculative investments with the sole purpose of making profits from the change of market value of RDT tokens.
As a gesture of good faith, instead of terminating the contract, as the SAFT outlines as a result of violation, the few who it applies to will be subjected to a slower and more long term vesting schedule for the benefit of the project, the community, and everyone supporting the future of decentralized gaming.
Being a community-driven project, Ridotto has picked its contributors carefully to ally with long-term partners who will support the project vision and respect the community. Breaching this legal and moral agreement will lead the Ridotto team to enforce them as they were communicated and as they would be expected to be upheld
