May was a month of foundational developments! From product and game development to technical enhancements, our work will set the stage for another slew of public releases!
Lottery Library Upgrade: Our big priority this month was readying our lottery infrastructure for new B2B partner additions. This meant transforming the Ridotto Lottery smart contract into a library model, which is modeled for growth and scaling. Next up, we’ll integrate a partner-pricing system, which will manage the lifecycle of all partner lotteries.
Lottery Smart Contract Optimization: We’ve optimized lottery smart contracts and re-designed them to counter-attack front-running bots. Now, only real players and operators will be able to earn incentive rewards. This ensures fair play for all involved and helps to maintain the integrity of our games.
NFT Airdrop: Wrapping up our lottery launch campaign and Easter giveaway, we airdropped specialty collectible NFTs to those who participated in two milestone lotteries. Keep your eyes peeled, we’ll have more collectible-earning opportunities live soon!
Play Base Layer: The base layer of Ridotto’s play platform is officially complete! Now, we’ve begun implementing the first set of games. Stay tuned for more details and sneak peeks of these games in the coming weeks.
Kubernetes Cluster: We launched Kubernetes (K8S) infrastructure, which will monitor and support all future game applications. With this finished, we’re now ready to start exposing the first set of games. This is a major step forward in scaling our infrastructure and ensuring smooth gameplay for our growing user base.
Fuzz Testing: We’ve implemented a fuzz testing system into the Ridotto Lottery protocol. This testing method identifies coding errors and security loopholes by providing invalid, unexpected, and random data to the inputs of the system. With this measure in place, our lottery will perform at a more rigorous security standard and deliver a higher quality experience.
