Inching ever closer to the launch of Ridotto’s first game, the lottery, July was a month of final preparations. On both the marketing and technical fronts, the team readied the course in visibility and product development for an exciting and explosive August and September.

Ridotto’s PancakeSwap Slot Campaign was a blowout! You, the community, came through in a massive way and gathered over 59,000 votes in favor of launching the $CAKE Burning Slot machine. In burning $CAKE, our proposal addressed the concerns of thousands of Pancake community members who have cast combined multiple millions of votes to curb token emissions. The PancakeSwap team will inevitably choose a solution; The community chose Ridotto.
We rallied both Ridotto’s community and PancakeSwap’s to landslide a vote to affirm the will of creation of a Ridotto-made, $CAKE burning, PancakeSwap-themed slot machine. While we are yet to hear back from PancakeSwap’s team, as Ridotto’s first games launch, we will continue to pursue partnerships with them and others.
Potential new partners will enjoy a profitable, innovative, engaging new token utility that simultaneously burns token supply while Ridotto gains visibility by partnering with new projects and communities.
Joker PFP NFT Collection:
It’s official! Ridotto’s NFT profile picture collection is now complete! 7,777 Jokers will soon come to life on the blockchain and form Ridotto’s competitive casino social layer. More information will be revealed closer to launch, but for now, just know that Ridotto’s NFTs will tell the secret history of the Venetian Carnival and offer players an exclusive, clan-based approach to heightened rewards and winnings on the casino platform.
Those who mint Ridotto’s PFP collection will earn exclusive, soul-bound NFT tokens. They will come with a special utility, reserved for Ridotto’s Genesis minters. Stay tuned for more info!
Team Expansion:
Ridotto’s team continues to grow! Now that the team has laid the technical foundation, we want to accelerate future development and the rate at which we meet product releases. So we hired two more developers: M. Mohammed as a Cloud Developer & S.T. Ibrahim as a Senior Backend and Mobile Developer!
Technical Development
DAO Governance and Staking:
Within the next two to three weeks, Ridotto’s native staking and DAO governance pages will go live! With audits already done, the team is now conducting the final round of testing and expects release to be imminent.
Note: Changing web3 infrastructure from Moralis (shutting down in September) to Quicknode caused a 2-week delay in the release.

Two Types of Lotteries :
Speaking of UI, this past month, Ridotto completed both the UI and UX of its two lottery game pages! That’s right, the brunt of development work for Ridotto’s first game is complete! Our developers simply need to connect the frontend to the backend, and release.
Players can expect an intuitive, seamless experience that flows effortlessly from the top of the webpage, down, and across all pages. The product team refined the lottery pages to be maximally user-friendly.
More information on the two types of lottery game styles will be announced closer to product release. For now, we will share that the first lottery game style will be traditional-count down dependent, and the second will be prize-dependent (hint: Tesla!)
Internal Platform Data Factory:
This month, Ridotto’s development team created the base infrastructure for data tracking and analysis. It will seamlessly convert all platform activity and on-chain information into accessible data. For the more technical among you, the team completed the data workflow and deployed the ETL and Data infrastructure.

Betting Webapp Architecture:
With the lottery nearing the end of development and the slot machine now in progress, Ridotto’s CTO Mohammed Marragh is turning his attention to the Betting side of the ecosystem. He and his team are currently defining the main components and overall architecture of the betting application, which includes a cohesive benchmark of the leading oracle solutions: Chainlink, API3, and Band Protocol.
