Today, Ridotto wants to shine a special spotlight on one of our most passionate team members, which is reflected clear-to-see in the quality of his artwork. Özgür Baltutan has officially joined Ridotto as our full time in-house graphic designer, and the team could not be more thrilled.
He has been involved in the arts for as long as he can remember, getting his start professionally as part of the Turkish national opera in his early teens.
Almost a decade later, having explored his passion for music, Özgür turned his attention to the digital arts while he was studying economics at university. It didn’t take long for his passion to take central focus in his life, and so he decided to drop finance to pursue a multifaceted approach to the creative arts.
In the time since, beyond graphic design, he has worked with Turkish filmmakers to design props and sets for movies and commercials, and has also worked with architects and design firms to fine tune their 3D modeling.
Cryptocurrency, blockchain, gaming and Ridotto are all fresh experiences for Özgür and likewise, he is enjoying the rollercoaster; happy to soak up as much fun as Web3 has to offer. He, too, is excited to offer his multidisciplinary approach to Ridotto and create unique experiences for the community in fresh and memorable ways.
Asked about his work with Ridotto, Özgür said: “My goal in life has always been about leaving an impact, and through Ridotto, I believe that I will succeed much sooner than I ever could have hoped. I’m excited by what’s ahead, and to create an aesthetic to match to fun and thrill of decentralized gaming.”
